Esthetician

Overview:

The Esthetician at Tamarack Resort is responsible for administering professional facials, waxing services, body scrubs, and wraps to our guests. This role requires a thorough knowledge of the skin, excellent facial massage and skin extraction techniques, and a commitment to cleanliness and sanitation. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and be able to learn product and service knowledge to provide wellness and beauty solutions to meet the needs of our guests.

Responsibilities:

1. Be punctual for shifts, prompt with each appointment, and perform services within the allotted time.
2. Provide consistent professional facial and body treatments in accordance with spa protocols and accepted certification practices.
3. Be flexible with scheduling to support the needs of the spa.
4. Care for equipment properly and use the right amount of product to assist with cost controls.
5. Have complete knowledge and understanding of all services and products, and educate and train guests in these areas.
6. Actively promote home care programs and meet minimum retail sales goals.
7. Uphold the standards of sanitation and sterilization as directed by law and spa policies and procedures.
8. Perform prep work and properly clean and restock the room as required.
9. Communicate any staff or guest issues to management.
10. Actively promote the spa, treatments, services, sessions, and retail, as well as programs, promotions, and discounts available.
11. Handle guest questions and concerns professionally and courteously.
12. Provide accurate, appropriate, and immediate responses to all requests by guests, ensuring complete guest satisfaction.
13. Work independently with minimal supervision.
14. Maintain a positive attitude and contribute to a quality work environment.
15. Regularly attend, participate in, and support training and staff meetings for the spa.
16. Assist in all areas of spa operation as requested by management.

Qualifications:

Must hold and maintain a current state license.
