Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Shop Foreman to join our team at Transteck, Inc. As a Shop Foreman, you will be responsible for supervising and motivating technical staff, ensuring the efficient operation of our workshop, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and motivate technical staff to ensure the efficient completion of repair orders and maintenance tasks.
• Monitor shop productivity and identify areas for improvement to optimize workflow and reduce downtime.
• Coordinate parts orders with the parts department to ensure timely delivery of necessary components.
• Assist with billing and dispatching work to technicians to ensure accurate and efficient completion of tasks.
• Maintain a clean and organized workshop environment to ensure a safe and healthy working space for employees.

Requirements:

• Experience in a supervisory role in an automobile or truck service center.
• Ability to work 1st or 2nd shift as required.
• Experience as a mechanic with a strong understanding of vehicle repair and maintenance.
• Excellent communication and supervisory skills to effectively manage and motivate technical staff.
• Familiarity with computer systems and experience with CDK (ADP) business systems is a plus.
