Electrodialysis Engineer Job DescriptionKey Responsibilities
  • Assist in designing and developing electrodialysis systems for water treatment applications, including desalination, brackish water purification, and wastewater treatment.
  • Conduct laboratory experiments and tests to evaluate the performance of electrodialysis membranes, ion exchange resins, and other components.
  • Collaborate with engineers to optimize electrodialysis processes, including flow rates, voltage gradients, and membrane configurations.
  • Collect and analyze data to identify trends, troubleshoot issues, and improve system efficiency.
  • Support pilot-scale or field-scale testing of electrodialysis systems, including installation, operation, and monitoring.
  • Prepare technical reports, presentations, and documentation to communicate research findings and project updates.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related field.
  • Strong technical skills and familiarity with principles of electrochemistry, wet chemical, electrical, membrane separation, and water treatment processes.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
