Key Responsibilities

  • Program Development and Implementation: Plan, organize, and direct activity therapy programs that cater to patients' diverse needs and interests, including therapeutic leisure skills, leisure education, and leisure awareness.
  • Session Facilitation: Lead and facilitate activity sessions that promote patients' mental and physical well-being, and provide instruction on various activities and techniques tailored to their specific needs.
  • Treatment Plan Implementation: Develop and implement treatment plans that meet patients' needs and interests, and help them achieve their treatment goals.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless communication and collaboration in delivering high-quality care.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Recreation Therapy, Occupational Therapy, or a related field, and relevant experience in activity therapy or a related field.
  • Skills and Qualities: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, and a strong commitment to delivering patient-centered care.
