Job Summary

Chenega MIOS SBU is seeking a highly skilled Senior Radar RF Systems Engineer to join their team at Vandenberg Space Force Base, California. This position may offer a hybrid telecommuting schedule after initial training.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and test new subsystems on mono-pulse tracking radars
  • Lead an engineering team on technical aspects of projects
  • Coordinate technical support personnel for projects
  • Analyze and implement approaches to meet customer requirements
  • Provide leadership and guidance to team members
  • Restore operational systems

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • 2+ years of radar engineering experience
  • Experience with RF, monopulse radar tracking systems, and shipboard radar systems
  • Knowledge of high-power RF amplifiers and C-band pulsed Doppler tracking systems
  • Ability to obtain and maintain DoD Secret clearance

Skills and Abilities:

  • Experience in digital interface design and hardware systems integration
  • Proficiency in test equipment and technical writing
  • Familiarity with Linux, Windows Operating Systems, and CAD software
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
  • Good human relations and interpersonal skills

Compensation:

USD $95,000.00/Yr. Up to USD $122,000.00/Yr.
