Your Role:
As an Automotive Collections Specialist, your primary responsibility will be to effectively manage account delinquencies through positive engagement with customers.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee a portfolio of accounts, focusing on minimizing risk by actively pursuing collections of automotive loans.
• Assist customers by providing tailored solutions aimed at negotiating immediate payments or establishing payment agreements with specific dates and amounts.
• Conduct loss control measures, including collections, insurance, and repossession activities.
• Perform investigative tasks to ascertain the location of customers and/or collateral through database inquiries and system records.
• Document all interactions and outcomes accurately and professionally within our systems.
Qualifications:
• Proficient in computer applications, with a solid understanding of internet and standard business software such as Microsoft Office; quick adaptability to new applications is essential.
• Typical working hours are Monday through Saturday, from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm, including one evening shift per week and every fourth Saturday until noon.
• Ability to maintain close visual acuity for tasks such as data analysis, computer terminal usage, and documentation. Travel is not a requirement for this position.
