Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement skilled speech therapy treatment plans based on physician directives, evaluating and interpreting patient assessments and test results.
  • Ensure compliance with state regulations regarding supervision of SLPAs and Clinical Fellows, maintaining the highest standards of care.
  • Facilitate continuity of care post-discharge by creating home exercise programs, instructing patients, and recommending assistive devices or follow-up plans.
  • Thoroughly document and maintain clinical and administrative records regarding patient progress, interventions, and discharge summaries.
  • Maintain confidentiality of patient records.
  • Accurately record treatment charges and complete documentation in a timely manner.
  • Adhere to the applicable State Speech Therapy Practice Act and relevant regulations.
Qualifications
  • Graduation from an ASHA accredited Speech Therapy program.
  • Current State Speech Therapist license.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and time management skills.
  • Commitment to prioritizing the best interests of clients and their families.
  • Collaborative mindset.
