We are seeking a board-certified/board-eligible Emergency Medicine physician to join our team in San Angelo, TX. As a Nocturnist, you will work 12 shifts per month and have the opportunity for overtime.
About the RoleOur medical center is a Level III Trauma facility with two emergency departments, one downtown and one at South Campus. We see 50,000-60,000 patients per year, with a fast track system in place. Our team consists of 20 BC Emergency Medicine physicians and 6 Advanced Practice Professionals.
Responsibilities- Evaluate a wide variety of patient ailments, often with limited information
- Think and act quickly to make a tentative diagnosis and determine the appropriate course of treatment
- Resuscitate and stabilize patients, transitioning care to an appropriate endpoint
