To excel in this position, you'll need a thorough understanding of search and closing sale procedures, including examining property history and determining whether title insurance is necessary. Depending on your location, you may also be responsible for notary licensing.", "Key Responsibilities": ["Establish communication with buyers and sellers upon receiving title orders, making follow-up calls as necessary to ensure timely completion", "Gather and review pertinent file information to ensure accuracy and completeness", "Maintain open communication with all parties through our system, providing updates on the status of title orders", "Order titles, payoffs, estoppels, and other searches and documentation to facilitate a smooth closing process", "Prepare Settlement Statements and Closing Disclosures to ensure transparency and compliance", "Apply your knowledge of the title process to determine the necessary steps to transfer property title according to real estate contracts and lender instructions", "Collaborate with colleagues to resolve title issues, including legal descriptions, easements, and other complexities", "Prepare all closing documents necessary for title insurance issuance", "Verify all documents and funds before disbursement to ensure accuracy and compliance", "Review legal documents for correct acknowledgments, legal descriptions, and liens before recording", "Requirements": ["Must be located in or near Draper, Salt Lake City, or Provo, Utah", "Advanced verbal and written communication skills", "Strong time management and organizational skills", "Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively", "Minimum 5 years of licensure and experience in title/escrow transactions", "Intermediate experience with technology, including G-Suite and Microsoft Office", "Open to feedback and a great listener", "Detail-oriented, multi-tasker, highly motivated, and a strong team player", "High School Diploma or Equivalent GED", "Notary (Preferred)", "Experience with closing software, such as Qualia, is a plus", "Substantive knowledge of real estate procedures, terminology, and documents"]}
