  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification
Preferred Certifications:
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
Must-Have:
  • Nursing Diploma OR Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN/ASN) from an accredited school
Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Cynet Health. As a Medical/Surgical Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care in a hospital setting. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing competent clinical nursing care consistent with professional standards
  • Coordinating and delivering patient care utilizing the nursing process
  • Participating in identifying and meeting personal learning needs
  • Attending education programs based on identified learning needs
  • Using patient education materials relevant to patient population
  • Assessing readiness to learn of the patient/family/caregivers
  • Identifying expected patient outcomes
  • Seeking guidance as needed in revision of the plan of care
  • Communicating relevant information to promote continuity of care
  • Demonstrating competence in care of patients with complex problems
  • Performing bedside point of care testing as required for patient care plan
  • Utilizing healthcare organization and nursing standards, policies, and procedures in delivery of care
  • Organizing and prioritizing care according to patient/family needs
  • Consulting with appropriate resources in a timely fashion regarding patients with complex care issues or high discharge risk
  • Developing professional growth goals and achieving them within identified time frames
  • Participating in unit goals and performance improvement activities
  • Using effective communication systems
  • Promoting cost-effective care and a safe, clean, and secure hospital environment
  • Recognizing data from complex situations to determine care priorities
  • Collaborating with patient/family to prepare or update the care plan
  • Using available multidisciplinary resources in planning care
  • Addressing cultural and ethnic issues in planning patient care
  • Demonstrating the ability to prioritize tasks for patients with complex problems
  • Reading professional journals to apply new knowledge to practice
