Key Responsibilities- Accountable for the management of pharmacy processes to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
- Ensures compliance with organizational policies and regulatory standards.
- Provides leadership for the daily operations of the pharmacy, ensuring the delivery of safe and effective pharmacy services.
- Oversees the operations of IV admixture services, ensuring adherence to all operational and regulatory guidelines.
- Develops and revises policies and procedures to align with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Continuously monitors workflow and implements strategies for ongoing improvement, while maintaining a focus on workplace safety.
Education:
- Completion of all required competencies and training for the role.
- Doctorate Degree or a combination of relevant education and experience may be considered in lieu of a Doctorate Degree.
Experience:
- Experience in hospital pharmacy settings.
- Proven track record in hospital pharmacy operations, including leadership in projects and initiatives.
- Experience in sterile IV compounding.
- Managerial or supervisory experience is essential.
Certification and Licensure:
- Valid PA Pharmacist License is required.
