Maintenance Planner

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Planner to join our team at McWane Ductile. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance of our plant equipment, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

• Develop and implement maintenance schedules to ensure optimal equipment performance
• Supervise and mentor maintenance technicians to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties
• Coordinate with inventory control specialists to ensure that all necessary materials are available for maintenance tasks
• Research and order spare parts as needed
• Estimate costs of labor and parts for industrial equipment
• Plan and schedule maintenance activities to minimize downtime and maximize productivity
• Collaborate with maintenance and operations teams to prioritize and schedule maintenance tasks
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and procedures

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent experience in related maintenance work
• Maintenance planning experience in foundry operations is preferred
• Journeyman electrician certification beneficial or equivalent experience
• Supervisory experience
• Ability to multitask and strong attention to detail
• Willingness to take management and other classes
• Fosters a culture of continuous improvement and positive work relationships
• Advanced computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
