Job Summary

The Radiologic Technologist - CT Imaging Specialist is responsible for performing high-quality computed tomography (CT) scans and providing exceptional patient care in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and prepare patient orders and exams, ensuring accurate and timely completion of procedures.
  • Position patients and operate CT imaging equipment to obtain high-quality images for interpretation by radiologists.
  • Administer contrast media as required for specific diagnostic protocols.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and efficient imaging procedures.
  • Perform a variety of technical procedures requiring independent judgment, with integrity and initiative.
Requirements
  • Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program and registered as a Radiographer by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • Advanced certification in CT or CT registry-eligible, with completion of advanced certification in CT within one year of date of hire.
  • Maintain Continuing Education credits (24 CEU in two-year period) and other requirements to maintain ARRT certification.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Two years as a Radiologic Technologist preferred.
  • One year CT experience preferred.
