Job Summary:

The Landings Club is seeking a highly skilled and experienced FOH Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our restaurant operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring exceptional customer service, maintaining high standards of food quality and safety, and leading a team of service professionals to achieve our goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Restaurant Operations: Ensure that the restaurant is properly prepared and set for dining prior to the start of each shift, maintaining a clean and welcoming environment for our members and guests.
  • Customer Service: Maintain a high level of membership contact throughout service hours, addressing concerns and providing exceptional service to our members and guests.
  • Menu Knowledge: Stay updated on current menu choices, specialties, and menu deviations, ensuring that our staff is knowledgeable and able to make recommendations to our members and guests.
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Ensure that basic cleaning tasks are completed by staff before, during, and after service, maintaining a clean and safe environment for our members and guests.
  • Leadership and Training: Assist the Clubhouse Manager in building a strong, effective team through ongoing supervision, training, coaching, counseling, and leadership, ensuring that our staff is equipped to provide exceptional service.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure compliance with all health and safety guidelines, maintaining a safe and healthy environment for our members and guests.
  • Special Events: Assist with special events as needed, ensuring that our restaurant operations are seamless and exceptional.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Previous experience in the food service industry, preferably in a supervisory role.
  • Skills: Ability to adhere to club standards of service, outstanding verbal, written, and multi-tasking skills, knowledge of food, wine, and spirits, and understanding of POS systems, payroll systems, and back-office computer systems.
  • Physical Requirements: Standing and/or walking 90% of workday, lifting, carrying, and/or moving from 1 pound up to 50 pounds for 25% of workday, pushing, pulling, bending, stooping, and upward reaching for 85% of workday, and working on a computer 25% of workday.
