MV Transportation is seeking a skilled Dispatcher to oversee the day-to-day route operations and report to the Dispatch Supervisors. This role involves directing daily communication and interaction with drivers and clients, ensuring safe, cost-effective, and on-time operating performance.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage daily communication with drivers and clients, addressing service issues and concerns.
- Track and report sign-in/sign-out times, ensuring routes are timely and efficient.
- Monitor and analyze system performance, identifying areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with Dispatch Supervisors and Managers to resolve service issues and optimize operations.
- Assign trips to drivers, ensuring adequate distribution of trips between routes.
- Participate in analysis and review of operating performance, identifying opportunities for growth and improvement.
- 1 year of previous Dispatcher experience preferred.
- 2 years of Customer Service experience is preferred.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Experience with Computer software, preferably Trapeze.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and maintain composure under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrate a high customer service commitment.
- Able to demonstrate professional phone manner.
- Knowledge of the service area is a plus.
- Bilingual is a plus.
Starting pay rate: $27/hour
