Job Summary

The Host/Hostess plays a vital role in ensuring a positive guest experience upon arrival and departure. This individual is responsible for providing a genuine and timely greeting, coordinating with existing systems, policies, and departmental standards to deliver exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up the Host/Hostess station according to restaurant guidelines.
  • Assist in the steps of service and complete shift and closing side work as specified by the F&B Manager.
  • Immediately alert a member of the leadership team in the event of any dissatisfied guest or service and/or quality issues.
  • Clean and maintain the Host/Hostess Area.
  • Have a thorough understanding of food safety and sanitation procedures.
  • Assist with the clearing and reset of tables in a timely and sanitary fashion.
  • Display polite, genuine, and professional phone etiquette as dictated by training documents or directives issued by the F&B Manager.
  • Maintain a clean and sanitized environment as directed.
  • Responsible for maintaining a regular, consistent attendance record.
Requirements
  • GED or High School Diploma preferred but not required.
  • Must hold Food Handler Certification as a requirement.
