Extraction Technician

We are seeking a skilled Extraction Technician to join our team at Etain LLC in Chestertown, NY. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for operating extraction and processing equipment to produce high-quality cannabis products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Extract plant material using ethanol and CO2 extraction methods
• Process plant extract through various purification and refinement steps
• Participate in Research and Development activities to improve yield and production
• Maintain batch manufacturing records in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices and NYS regulations
• Perform preventative and restoration maintenance on extraction and production equipment
• Participate in packaging activities, including filling vaporizers and applying labels
• Dispose of waste in accordance with NYS regulations and Good Manufacturing Practices
• Follow Etain LLC guidelines for sanitary practices and personal protective equipment (PPE) use
• Participate in cleaning manufacturing areas, including extraction rooms and laboratories
• Participate in training sessions to improve skills and knowledge

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 5 years' experience in mechanical settings, such as car or tractor repair
• Equivalent level of education, training, and experience
• Valid authorization to work in the U.S.
• Must be 21 years old
• Must successfully complete a comprehensive background check

Work Environment:

This is a manual labor position that requires heavy lifting. You will work independently and as part of a team, depending on production requirements. The work environment is a factory/manufacturing setting with varying temperatures. All staff members must wear PPE, including Tyvek suits, scrubs, boot covers, protective eyewear, hair and beard nets, gloves, and face masks.
