Spherion Staffing Reno, NV is recruiting for a swing shift packing position in USA Parkway. The ideal candidate will work 2pm-10pm, Monday-Friday, and earn $18 per hour. This is a temp to hire opportunity.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Complete and comprehend EverTec Material Packing Quality Assurance training
  • Effectively perform visual quality inspections as required by EverTec Quality Assurance
  • Understand and implement Quality Assurance program required escalation process when non-conforming product has been identified
  • Ensure efficient packing process as identified by supervision and management is adhered to as a Standard Operating Procedure

The Packing Specialist will be responsible for assembling cardboard lids, conducting quality checks, removing full boxes of mailers off the skate table, and stacking them on a finished good pallet. They will also construct cardboard boxes and perform general housekeeping duties.

The ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment, follow standardized work instructions, and adhere to safe work practices in a continuous improvement culture. They must also be able to take coaching well and communicate respectfully with others.
