About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service, has excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and is eager to learn and grow with our agency. As a Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service, including responding to inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions, and billing clarification.
  • Establishing and maintaining relationships with clients, following up as needed to ensure their satisfaction and address any concerns they may have.
  • Using a customer-focused, needs-based review process to educate clients about insurance options that meet their needs.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Sales experience (outside sales or inside sales representative, retail sales associate, or telemarketing) preferred.
  • Successful track record of meeting sales goals/quotas preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.
  • Excellent communication skills - written, verbal, and listening.
  • Enthusiasm about the role insurance and financial products play in helping people manage the risks of everyday life, recover from the unexpected, and realize their dreams.
  • People-oriented, with a strong desire to build relationships and help others.
  • Organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Self-motivated, with a strong work ethic and commitment to excellence.
  • Detail-oriented, with a focus on accuracy and quality in all aspects of your work.
  • Proactive in problem-solving, with a willingness to take initiative and seek solutions to challenges.
  • Dedicated to customer service, with a commitment to delivering exceptional experiences for our clients.
  • Able to learn computer functions quickly and efficiently.

  • Ability to assess client needs and conduct effective interviews.
  • Property and Casualty license (must be able to obtain).
