Job Summary:
The Telemetry/CV Stepdown Registered Nurse has the responsibility and accountability for assessing patient/family health problems and resources, taking a leadership role in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of the nursing plan of care provided by the nursing team. This position requires providing services to Medical-Surgical Patients, ages eighteen and above, in a manner that demonstrates an understanding of the functional/developmental age of the individuals served.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess patient/family health problems and resources, and develop a plan of care that addresses their needs.
- Provide technical nursing care and interventions to a designated patient population.
- Collaborate with the nursing team to implement and evaluate the nursing plan of care.
- Participate in performance improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
Requirements:
- One year of experience in a similar role.
- Current Louisiana RN License.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
