The Role
We are seeking a Sleep Disorders Specialist who can provide comprehensive evaluation and treatment of sleep disorders, including in-center and out-of-center testing, diagnostic interventions, and patient education.
Responsibilities
- Perform polysomnograms according to department standards.
- Administer oxygen and/or nasal CPAP/BiPAP according to department procedure, instructing patients on proper use and care of equipment.
- Write comprehensive reports on findings, including treatment levels (if used).
- Collect and review medical, historical, and medication information to perform prescribed studies.
Requirements
- 6 months of sleep center experience.
- Board certification by the Board of Registration of Polysomnographic Technologist (BRPT).
- Iowa License in Polysomnographic Technology under Iowa House File 203 regulations.
Salary: $70,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
