Academic / Research Job Opportunity

We are seeking an exceptional Postdoctoral Scientist to join our Smidt Heart Institute team. This role offers the chance to work alongside world-class cardiologists, cardiac surgeons, and researchers who strive to revolutionize heart disease treatment and prevention.

The selected candidate will contribute to a dynamic environment where cutting-edge technology, innovation, and discovery drive patient outcomes. As part of our interdisciplinary team, you will collaborate with Principal Investigators and other Research Scientists to develop, adapt, and implement new research techniques and protocols.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and perform experiments, analyzing results with the Principal Investigator.
  • Analyze, interpret, summarize, and compile data to inform research objectives.
  • Operate and maintain equipment and instruments, ensuring optimal performance.
  • Participate in publications and presentations as author or co-author, contributing to the advancement of knowledge in the field.
Qualifications and Requirements:

To be considered for this role, applicants must hold a Doctorate (MD, PhD, DVM, or DDS) in an area directly related to the field of research specialization. The ideal candidate should possess one to five years of post-doctoral experience, demonstrating technical and theoretical knowledge of research projects and objectives.

A strong understanding of safety standards and the maintenance of specialized equipment is also essential. Salary and Benefits:
