About the Department:

The Department of Civil Engineering & Construction Management at CSUN is a dynamic and diverse department that seeks to attract and retain talented faculty members who are committed to excellence in teaching, research, and service.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a tenure-track faculty member in Construction Management at the rank of Assistant Professor to join our dynamic team of faculty members.

Responsibilities:

  • Teach Construction Management courses, both at the undergraduate and graduate level.
  • Conduct research in Construction Management and/or Construction Engineering or a related field.
  • Participate in assessment of student learning and service to the department, college, and university.

Qualifications:

  • Ph.D. and B.S. in Construction Management, Construction Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a closely related discipline from an accredited institution.
  • Teaching experience in Construction Management or Civil Engineering related courses at the College/University level.
  • Evidence of, or clear potential for, successful scholarly and/or creative development and sustained publication or exhibition in the last 5 years.

Salary Information:

The estimated salary range for this position is $100,000-$110,000 per year, dependent upon qualifications.
