Service Technician Job Description

Best Line Equipment is seeking a skilled Service Technician to join our team. As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing diesel engines, hydraulic systems, electrical systems, fuel systems, and aftertreatment systems on medium or heavy excavating equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose and repair diesel engines, hydraulic systems, electrical systems, fuel systems, and aftertreatment systems on medium or heavy excavating equipment
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on construction and agricultural equipment
  • Work with a team to ensure timely and efficient completion of repairs
  • Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with customers and colleagues
Requirements:
  • 2 years of experience in a construction or agricultural equipment dealership as a service technician
  • Well-rounded mechanical aptitude and ability to work with a variety of equipment
  • Team player with a customer-focused mentality
Benefits:
  • $55,000 - $100,000 annually, dependent on experience and qualifications
  • Monday - Friday, 7 AM - 5 PM schedule
  • Health insurance, including medical, Rx, dental, and vision
  • $500 annual tool allowance and 50% annual boot allowance
  • Day 1 health benefits and 100% paid premiums for eligible dependents
  • 401k with partial company match
