Position Overview

We are seeking a proficient technician to become a vital part of our team at Mt Olive Pickle Company, contributing to the enhancement and upkeep of our production systems. In this role, you will be tasked with diagnosing issues, executing repairs, conducting installations, and engaging in various project activities. You will be expected to operate autonomously on intricate machinery with limited oversight.

Primary Duties
  • Conduct maintenance and implement ongoing enhancements
  • Offer technical assistance to guarantee safe and efficient production
  • Identify and rectify machinery issues based on service requests
  • Support root cause investigations and maintenance initiatives
  • Assess equipment malfunctions and perform necessary repairs
  • Replace components including motors, pumps, drives, PLCs, and valves
  • Utilize a Computerized Maintenance Management System for managing work orders
  • Create documentation for engineering and maintenance tasks
  • Facilitate communication across departments
  • Maintain a safe and hygienic work environment
Qualifications
  • Technical degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 5 years in a manufacturing setting
  • Extensive knowledge of PLCs, drives, controls, and industrial instrumentation
  • Valid driver's license and proficiency in English communication
