Job Summary:

Shottenkirk Automotive Group is seeking a skilled Diesel Technician to join our team at Shottenkirk Granbury CDJR. As a Diesel Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing all areas/systems of assigned vehicles, working with team members to accurately document recommendations, diagnoses, and repairs performed, and staying up-to-date with manufacturer's updates and training.

Responsibilities:

Diagnose and repair all areas/systems of assigned vehicles
Work with team members to accurately document recommendations, diagnoses, and repairs performed
Stay up-to-date with manufacturer's updates and training
Perform road tests and quality control of all work performed
Responsible for keeping the shop area neat, and clean, and accounting for all dealership-owned tools at all times

Requirements:

Valid driver's license and good driving record
Proficiency with tools and mechanical aptitude
Possess ability to accurately diagnose mechanical automotive problems and make recommendations
Good work ethic is a must
Factory training, ASE certifications or prior dealership experience is a plus
Must be able to keep up with a fast-paced environment
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship and be a current resident
Must pass pre-employment testing to include background checks, MVR, and drug screen
