UR Medicine Finger Lakes Health is seeking experienced Radiologic Technologists for 13-week travel assignments.
Position Details:
Compensation: $60.00-$70.00 per hour, commensurate with experience.
Health Insurance coverage begins at the start of the month following 30 days of employment.
Work Schedule: Day/Eve shifts with weekend and off-shift call responsibilities.
Eligibility: Candidates must reside at least 25 miles outside the designated radius.
Qualifications:
Education: Completion of an AMA-approved 2-year Radiology Technology program or an Associate of Applied Science degree in Radiologic Technology.
Licensure: Valid New York State Radiologic Technology license.
Certifications: ARRT certification is required.
Experience: A minimum of 24 months of training from a recognized AMA-approved institution in Radiology, with comprehensive knowledge in all aspects of Diagnostic Radiology.
Key Responsibilities:
Conducts complex radiographic procedures, utilizing advanced skills and knowledge of Radiologic Technology principles. Performs diagnostic imaging studies as requested, including the operation of portable radiographic equipment when necessary. Adheres to Infection Control protocols in accordance with Universal Precautions. The Radiologic Technologist must be capable of providing care to patients across all age groups, including infants, children, adults, and the elderly.
