Snowplow Driver

The City of Lakewood is seeking a skilled Snowplow Driver to join our team on a part-time, on-call basis. As a Snowplow Driver, you will be responsible for assisting in snow and ice control, operating front-end loaders, tandem and single axle plow trucks with salt spreader, and maintaining a safe working environment.

• Operate snowplow equipment to clear roads and sidewalks
• Assist in snow and ice control operations
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment
• Work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Collaborate with other team members to achieve common goals

• Class B commercial driver's license (state of CO)
• Experience operating front-end loaders, tandem and single axle plow trucks with salt spreader
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing conditions
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to pass a background check and DOT physical, including a drug test

The Snowplow Driver will work in a variety of weather conditions, including snow, ice, and extreme cold. The position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing conditions.
