Position Overview
Role Summary:
Become an integral part of Essentia Health's dedicated team, where you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional patient care. This position is situated in a vibrant community known for its recreational opportunities and natural beauty.
Educational Requirements:
As a CMA or LPN specializing in Family Medicine, your responsibilities will include assisting registered nurses, physicians, and other healthcare providers. You will deliver direct patient care in an outpatient setting, contributing to the overarching mission and objectives of Essentia Health. Your role will involve performing specific procedures for which you have demonstrated competency, caring for patients across all age groups from infants to seniors.
This role requires a commitment of 64 hours biweekly, with shifts primarily during the day.
Licensure and Certification Requirements:
- Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the state of Minnesota -OR- current registration or certification as a Medical Assistant -OR- completion of a Medical Assistant Program with certification to be obtained within one year of hire (must pass certification within two attempts).
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification is required or must be obtained within three months of employment.
Work Environment: This position is based in a clinical setting.
Shift Details: Day shifts with a start time of 7:30 AM and an end time of 5:00 PM.
Compensation: The hourly wage for this position is $29.32.
Employment Type: This is a part-time role with a full-time equivalent of 0.8.
