Position Overview

The Senior Project Manager will oversee various construction initiatives. This role is pivotal as the primary Project Leader, responsible for all aspects of project execution. Key duties include project initiation, contract management, compliance oversight, procurement of materials and equipment, daily progress monitoring, ensuring safety standards, approving invoices for materials and equipment, managing timesheets, scheduling and sequencing of project tasks, and maintaining effective communication with general contractors.

Compensation Package: $100,000 - $150,000 annually

Compensation may vary based on individual qualifications and experience.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Review and execute contracts and project scopes.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Analyze job costs and estimates.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules.
  • Track project quantities and progress.
  • Prepare and report on project costs.
  • Approve invoice submissions.
  • Procure necessary materials and equipment.
  • Issue and track change order requests.
  • Prepare basic estimates for change orders.
  • Coordinate efforts with general contractors and owners.
  • Work with operations managers to ensure adequate resources.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Engineering preferred.
  • In-depth understanding of construction methodologies and practices.
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities with a flexible approach.
  • Experience in project setup, budgeting, and cost reporting is essential.
  • Strong grasp of critical path scheduling.
  • Proven track record in leading successful project teams.
  • Highly motivated with a sense of urgency.
  • Self-driven and capable of working independently or collaboratively.
  • Physical capability to navigate job sites, including climbing ladders and scaffolding.
