Position Overview:

Job Responsibilities:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Structural Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in structural engineering and a commitment to innovation.

This is a full-time role that involves working on diverse projects, including commercial, residential, and industrial structures.

The successful applicant will be adept in using engineering software such as Bluebeam and RISA, with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Structural Engineer, your duties will include:

  • Conducting thorough structural analysis and design for various building types using RISA and Bluebeam.
  • Preparing and reviewing engineering drawings, specifications, and reports for multiple projects.
  • Performing site inspections and structural evaluations of existing buildings.
  • Assisting in the planning and execution of demolition projects, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
  • Collaborating with project managers, architects, and team members to maintain structural integrity across projects.
  • Providing technical guidance to project teams and clients, resolving complex engineering challenges.
  • Keeping abreast of industry trends, codes, and regulations, and applying this knowledge in your work.
  • Participating in project meetings and presenting structural designs to clients and stakeholders.

Qualifications:
To excel in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering; a Master's degree or PE license is advantageous.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in structural engineering, particularly in the design and analysis of various structures.
  • Proficiency in structural engineering software such as Bluebeam and RISA.
  • Experience in managing demolition projects.
  • A strong grasp of structural engineering principles, codes, and standards.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, capable of effectively conveying technical information.
  • A collaborative mindset with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Self-driven with a keen attention to detail.
  • Willingness to travel for site evaluations and meetings as necessary.
