Job Summary:

We are seeking caring and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join our team in providing ongoing evaluation of resident medical and mental well-being. As an LPN at Fishkill Center, you will be responsible for ensuring residents receive proper medication dosage and observing and recording medication administration.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide ongoing evaluation of resident medical and mental well-being
  • Ensure residents needing supervision and assistance with medications are provided with proper dosage at the designated time and observe and record that the resident takes the medication
  • Maintain the facility in compliance with all applicable statutes, codes, and rules and regulations

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Currently licensed as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in New York State
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to function independently
  • Computer literate
