We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quantitative Analyst to join our team of psychometrics experts at the Human Resources Research Organization. This is a senior-level position that requires significant experience in conducting operational psychometrics for large-scale assessment programs.

The ideal candidate will have a PhD in Educational Measurement, Quantitative Psychology, or a related field, with at least 6 years of post-doctoral work experience in this area. They will be responsible for directing the execution of moderate to large-scale operational psychometric projects, including working with state clients or testing vendors, managing junior staff, and ensuring compliance with quality, timeliness, and budgetary requirements.

This role will involve designing and implementing operational analysis plans to conduct calibration, equating, and scoring for large-scale assessment programs. The successful candidate will also lead and conduct psychometric tasks and research studies, such as pool assembly, DIF, IRT calibration, scoring, item parameter drift, standard setting, alignment studies, and validity studies.

Key responsibilities will include developing technical reports for client Technical Advisory Committees (TACs) and supporting peer review submissions. Additionally, the candidate will lead and/or assist with proposal development to secure new contracts and mentor junior staff members.

In this role, you will work collaboratively with colleagues, managers, and clients to support effective teamwork. You will also have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects and tasks across different areas and possess a desire to learn and develop inventive methods that respond to client needs.

This position is located in one of our offices in Alexandria, VA; Louisville, KY; Monterey, CA; San Diego, CA; or Minneapolis, MN, and we offer a hybrid work policy that allows for part-time telework.
