Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Medical Assistant to join our team in the Cardiac/Pedi unit. As a Medical Assistant, you will provide clinical support to our patients and healthcare team, ensuring the highest level of care and compassion.

Responsibilities

* Assist with basic patient care, including vital sign measurements, specimen collections, and patient monitoring
* Maintain a clean and organized patient care environment, adhering to infection control protocols
* Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care transitions
* Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care plans and outcomes
* Perform other duties as assigned to ensure the smooth operation of the department/unit

Requirements

* High school graduate or equivalent and graduate of an accredited nursing assistant program or equivalent
* Minimum of one-year medical/surgical or equivalent experience preferred
* Nurse Aide Certification or equivalent required
* BLS certification required
