Mental Health Services Clinician/Coordinator of Crisis and Clinical Case Management Services

The Johns Hopkins University Student Health & Well-Being practice group is seeking a highly motivated and organized Mental Health Services Clinician/Coordinator of Crisis and Clinical Case Management Services to join our team. As a key member of our mental health services team, you will provide clinical and outreach services to undergraduate, graduate, and professional students and learners across Johns Hopkins University.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct clinical services, including drop-in and single-session counseling, initial consultations, and group interventions for a diverse community of students and learners.
  • Collaborate with the Baltimore-based Behavioral Health Crisis Support Team and the MHS Clinical Case Management Team to provide crisis intervention and case management services to students and learners at the JHU Washington D.C. campus.
  • Develop and implement group and psychoeducational interventions for clients and student populations.
  • Contribute to professional development activities, including didactic training and seminars for trainees and SHWB staff.
  • Participate in clinical collaboratives and coordination meetings with the BHCST and Clinical Case Management teams.
Requirements:
  • Master's Degree in Counseling, Psychology, or Social Work from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum of 2 years post-graduate clinical experience.
  • Independently licensed as a mental health provider in primary required jurisdiction(s) noted in job description prior to start date.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Doctoral Degree (DSW, Ph.D., Psy.D. or relevant terminal degree) from an accredited program.
  • Licensed as a psychologist in required jurisdiction(s) noted in job description or license-eligible.

This is a 37.5 hour/week position with evening and weekend work required. The successful candidate will demonstrate a commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging in clinical work and all professional activities.
