Job Summary

Vistar is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Worker to join our team. As a key member of our distribution center, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient flow of products through our warehouse.

Key Responsibilities
  • Warehouse Operations: Perform general warehouse duties, including forklift operations, inventory management, and order fulfillment.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory levels, conduct cycle counts, and identify opportunities for process improvements.
  • Shipping and Receiving: Ensure timely and accurate shipping and receiving of products, including loading and unloading of trailers.
  • Safety and Quality: Maintain a safe and clean work environment, adhering to all safety regulations and quality standards.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with colleagues to achieve departmental and company goals, providing support and assistance as needed.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Experience: 6+ months of warehouse and/or distribution work experience
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly throughout shift; ability to lift, stack, and/or pull products off shelves weighing between 10-35 pounds and generally up to between approximately 60 and 90 pounds
  • Work Environment: Ability to work in multi-temperature environments, including cooler, freezer, and dry areas
