">We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Housekeeper (Part Time) to join our team at Texas Children's Hospital West Campus in Houston, TX. As a key member of our cleaning services team, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of our facilities.
About the Role:
">- Job Summary: Perform light cleaning duties to maintain establishments, including hotels, restaurants, and hospitals, in a clean and orderly manner.
- Duties: Makes beds, replenishes linens, cleans rooms and halls, vacuums, sweeps, scrubs, mops, polishes floors, shampoos carpets, rugs, and upholstery, dusts and polishes furniture and fittings, empties and cleans trash containers, disposes of trash in a sanitary manner, cleans wash basins, mirrors, tubs, and showers, wipes down glass surfaces, makes up beds and changes linens as required, realigns furniture and amenities according to prescribed layout, responds to guest queries and requests, and responds to calls for housekeeping problems.
Requirements:
">To be successful in this role, you must have excellent customer service skills, be able to work independently, and have a strong attention to detail. You should also be able to lift 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
Compensation and Benefits:
">The estimated salary for this position is $12.50 per hour. We offer a range of benefits to our full-time and part-time employees, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability insurance, commuter benefits, employee assistance program, flexible spending accounts, and paid time off.
Work Environment:
">This is a part-time position with a varying schedule, including evenings and weekends. The ideal candidate will be able to adapt to changing circumstances and work collaboratively as part of a team.
