We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced School Psychologist to join our team at ProCare Therapy in Chardon, OH. As a School Psychologist, you will be responsible for providing psychological services to students, including assessments, interventions, and counseling.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive assessments of students' cognitive, emotional, and behavioral functioning
- Develop and implement individualized intervention plans to address students' needs
- Provide counseling services to students, parents, and teachers to promote academic and social success
- Collaborate with school administrators, teachers, and other professionals to develop and implement school-wide initiatives
- Stay up-to-date with best practices in school psychology and participate in ongoing professional development
- Master's or doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field from an accredited institution
- State licensure or certification as a School Psychologist
- Knowledge of psychological assessment tools, intervention strategies, and special education regulations
- Strong understanding of child development, learning disabilities, and mental health issues affecting students
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with students, parents, teachers, and administrators
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
