Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced School Psychologist to join our team at ProCare Therapy in Chardon, OH. As a School Psychologist, you will be responsible for providing psychological services to students, including assessments, interventions, and counseling.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of students' cognitive, emotional, and behavioral functioning
  • Develop and implement individualized intervention plans to address students' needs
  • Provide counseling services to students, parents, and teachers to promote academic and social success
  • Collaborate with school administrators, teachers, and other professionals to develop and implement school-wide initiatives
  • Stay up-to-date with best practices in school psychology and participate in ongoing professional development
Requirements
  • Master's or doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field from an accredited institution
  • State licensure or certification as a School Psychologist
  • Knowledge of psychological assessment tools, intervention strategies, and special education regulations
  • Strong understanding of child development, learning disabilities, and mental health issues affecting students
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with students, parents, teachers, and administrators
