We are seeking a skilled Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist to join our team at the Detroit Medical Center. As a CT Technologist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality imaging services to our patients.

Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team of healthcare professionals. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for operating complex imaging equipment, preparing patients for exams, and producing high-quality images.

Responsibilities
  • Operate computed tomography scanners to produce high-quality images of the body's internal structures.
  • Prepare patients for exams by explaining procedures, positioning them correctly, and ensuring their comfort and safety.
  • Use radiation safety practices to minimize patient exposure to radiation.
  • Maintain accurate records of patient information, exam results, and any necessary follow-up actions.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure that imaging studies are interpreted accurately and communicated effectively to patients and referring physicians.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Sciences or related field required.
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in Radiology or Computed Tomography preferred.
  • 1-2 years of experience as a CT Technologist, preferably in an acute care setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
