Role Overview:

The Physical Therapist will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to evaluate and address patient care requirements, particularly concentrating on post-concussive symptoms experienced by military personnel and elite athletes. Key responsibilities encompass conducting physical evaluations, implementing therapeutic interventions, and ensuring seamless coordination of care.

Qualifications:

  • Possession of a valid Louisiana Physical Therapy license or eligibility to acquire one
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in vestibular and neurological rehabilitation
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in interventions for traumatic brain injuries
  • At least 1 year of experience in sports medicine or human physical performance

Desirable Attributes:

  • Doctorate in Physical Therapy
  • 3 years of experience in neurologic or vestibular rehabilitation
  • Experience working with military veterans or high-performance athletes
  • Familiarity with electronic medical record systems
