Dishwasher Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Dishwasher to join our team at Doubletree by Hilton Arlington DFW South. As a Dishwasher, you will play a critical role in maintaining the cleanliness and efficiency of our kitchen operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Sort, wash, and return dishes and utensils to food operations throughout the hotel.
  • Maintain a clean and efficient workstation, ensuring that all equipment and tools are in good working order.
  • Expedite clean dishes and utensils to the cook's line and other areas of Food and Beverage as needed.
  • Properly fill and maintain the dish machine, adhering to health department guidelines.
  • Unload the dish machine, stack, store, and return dishes and utensils to their proper areas in the kitchen and other food service areas.
  • Empty garbage cans in the dish area and throughout the kitchen as needed.
  • Maintain the dish area, including floors, walls, and counter areas, to meet hotel and health department standards.
  • Sweep and mop floors in the dish room and kitchen.
  • Clean and replace floor mats.
  • Restock areas with required supplies.
Requirements:
  • Previous Stewarding experience is preferred.
  • Service orientation and knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services.
