Key Responsibilities- Perform initial assessments of patients and develop individualized care plans.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Provide safe and timely nursing care in accordance with hospital policies and procedures.
- Accurately document patient care and maintain accurate records.
- Delegate patient care duties to team members while maintaining accountability.
- Participate in education and staff development of professional and non-professional personnel.
- Assist in quality improvement activities and contribute to a positive and supportive work environment.
- Graduate of a school of nursing with current WV license.
- BCLS certification required.
- PALS and ACLS certifications preferred or obtainable within six (6) months.
- Previous experience in nursing required.
- One (1) year's nursing experience preferred in critical care area.
- Ability to effectively recognize the unique needs of patients of all ages.
- Ability to cope with highly stressful situations and set priorities for multiple tasks.
