Job Summary

Seeking a highly skilled Avionics/Electrical Technician to join our team at Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and guidance in the testing, troubleshooting, and repair of avionics/electronic systems and aircraft equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform various operational, functional tests, and repairs of avionics/electronic systems and aircraft equipment to ensure defect-free aircraft.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to team members in the testing, troubleshooting, and repair of avionics/electronic systems and aircraft equipment.
  • Develop and implement process changes to reduce cost and meet schedule without compromising safety or quality.
  • Ensure compliance with engineering changes and modifications as required.
  • Set up and operate necessary test equipment and conduct functional and operational tests to evaluate performance and reliability.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Six (6) years experience in an avionics/electrical career field; or two (2) years of accredited schooling in aviation electronics and four (4) years related experience.
  • A&P (FAA Airframe and Powerplant) license preferred.
  • Other FCC License preferred.
  • Other NCATT preferred.
