Science Educator

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced 6th Grade Science Teacher to join our team at Soliant. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching science and a proven track record of success in the classroom.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans to teach science-related core subjects and concepts to 6th grade students.
- Provide individualized support to students who require additional assistance, helping them to overcome specific learning challenges.
- Prepare students for standardized tests required by the State of South Carolina.
- Supervise students during class and outside activities, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Communicate effectively with parents and administrators regarding student progress.
- Review and grade student assignments as needed.
- Observe students to evaluate their abilities, strengths, and weaknesses, and provide suggestions for improvement.
Requirements:
- A bachelor's degree or higher in education or a related field.
- A South Carolina Teachers License with middle school science endorsements.
- Previous experience teaching, preferably in a middle school setting.
