Chartwells Higher Ed is seeking an experienced Executive Chef to lead our culinary team in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

The estimated annual salary for this position is between $40,000 and $60,000, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate activities of cooks and other food service associates to ensure high-quality food production and exceptional customer service.
  • Evaluate and improve kitchen operations, menus, and recipes to meet production, delivery, and service schedules.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and track food usage and waste to optimize purchasing and minimize costs.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to select and develop new recipes and menus that showcase our commitment to quality and innovation.
Requirements
  • At least 1 year of previous experience in a similar role or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with a focus on teamwork and customer satisfaction.
