  • Provide high-quality patient care, including comprehensive clinical assessment, diagnosing, planning, and treatment of health issues or injuries.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to provide coordinated care and optimize patient outcomes.
  • Consult with and provide supervision to other healthcare professionals as needed.
  • Facilitate decisions and actions on behalf of patients in an ethical manner, maintaining patient confidentiality and advocating for patient needs.
  • Follow established documentation practices to ensure accurate and complete medical records.
  • Collaborate with other physicians and healthcare professionals as needed on patient care evaluation and management.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of practice goals and protocols.
Requirements:
  • Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine with a current license to practice medicine in the state of Illinois.
  • Board certification or Board eligible in the specialty area.
  • Active DEA and Illinois Controlled Substance License.
  • Current CPR certification or specialty-specific advanced life support certification obtained through American Heart Association.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Current knowledge of evidence-based standards of medical care for the specialty area.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize patient care to support efficient patient flow.
