Radiology Technologist Position

Job Summary:
Advocate Aurora Health is seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team. As a Radiology Technologist, you will be responsible for operating radiology equipment, positioning patients, and securing support devices to perform procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate Radiology Equipment: You will be responsible for operating radiology equipment, including positioning patients and securing support devices to perform procedures.
- Position Patients: You will position patients correctly to ensure high-quality images are obtained.
- Adhere to Safety Standards: You will adhere to all accepted safety standards and practices to ensure patient safety and quality patient care.
- Coordinate Quality Control Tasks: You will coordinate quality control tasks, including inventorying supplies, labeling radiology images, and preparing contrast media.
Requirements:
- IDNS License: You must have an IDNS license and graduate from an accredited AMA School of Radiology.
- CPR Certification: You must have CPR certification and be licensed by IDNS.
- Knowledge and Skills: You must have knowledge of Health Information System and basic knowledge of radiology equipment.
Working Conditions:
- Ability to Work in a Fast-Paced Environment: You must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and make independent professional decisions pertaining to high-quality patient care.
- Ability to Lift and Move Patients: You must be able to lift and move patients, and work under stressful conditions.
