Job Overview

At Hallmark US Springboard, we are seeking a skilled Retail Merchandiser to join our team. As a Retail Merchandiser, you will play a vital role in showcasing our products and providing an exceptional shopping experience for our customers.

Salary and Benefits

The starting pay for this position is $13.50 per hour, with opportunities for overtime and bonuses. Additionally, you will be eligible for a range of benefits, including paid training, travel time, and mileage reimbursement.

About the Role

Your primary responsibility will be to service various retail stores across the region, including grocery stores, drug stores, department stores, and mass retailers. You will be responsible for maintaining the visual appeal of our products, restocking shelves, and ensuring that our displays are up-to-date and engaging.

Holiday Support

We operate on a seasonal basis, with peak periods around holidays such as Valentine's Day, Easter, Mother's Day, Father's Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. During these times, you may be required to work extended hours or weekends to ensure that our products are adequately represented.

Department Resets

You will also be responsible for assisting with department resets, which involve relocating card departments and products, building and installing fixtures, and resetting card sections. These tasks may require working evenings or weekends, but you will typically be notified two weeks in advance to allow for planning and preparation.

Physical Requirements

This is a physically demanding role that requires you to be able to lift, carry, and push cartons and merchandise weighing up to 30 pounds, occasionally up to 50 pounds. You must also be able to stand for long periods, walk, and climb stairs and step ladders.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

To be considered for this role, you must meet the following basic qualifications:

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Be able to read, write, and understand English.
• Have the ability to grasp, pull, lift, and carry products up to 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally.
• Able to operate hand-held technology provided to open and read documents and interpret information.
• Have access to a Wi-Fi network and the internet.
• Have reliable transportation to report to assigned locations.
