Position Overview
The role entails delivering technical support and compassionate patient care tailored to the unique requirements of each patient within designated departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather, document, and communicate clinical information such as vital signs, height and weight, fluid intake and output, pulse oximetry readings, and specimen collection
- Conduct laboratory analyses in accordance with established protocols and guidelines
- Support patient activities as specified in their individualized care plans
- Provide basic wound care and uphold patient safety standards
- Ensure patient privacy and confidentiality are maintained at all times
- Sustain a hygienic and secure environment by implementing appropriate infection control practices
- Assist with the processes of patient admissions, transfers, and discharges
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent, along with completion of designated medical training programs
- Valid BLS certification is mandatory
- Current ACLS/ALS certifications are advantageous
- Proficiency in IV initiation, phlebotomy, and EKG setup is highly preferred
- Proficient English communication skills are essential
