Pilot Freight Services is looking for a dedicated Full-Time Dock Agent to join our team.

Position Summary:

The Logistics Warehouse Agent is responsible for the efficient loading and unloading of goods using various equipment such as hand trucks, reach trucks, or forklifts. This role requires maintaining a tidy and secure work environment while ensuring that all incoming shipments are accurately checked against the manifest.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Load and unload freight from line haul trucks.
  • Perform manual unloading for multiple trailers, with the ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
  • Check in incoming freight.
  • Conduct warehouse dock inspections.
  • Label and organize freight appropriately.
  • Prepare local delivery freight and load delivery vehicles.
  • Operate forklifts safely and efficiently.
  • Screen freight for quality and compliance.

Qualifications:

Candidates must be capable of lifting heavy items and proficient in using forklifts, pallet jacks, and packaging materials such as banding and shrink wrap. A High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
